Governor Hogan comments on SNAP benefits at Farmers Market issue
MARYLAND -- WBFF -- People going to Farmers Markets may no longer be able to buy food there with government assistance and Governor Larry Hogan says he wants to look into the problem.
The "Novo Dia Group" is the company that processes "SNAP" cards at Farmers Markets and says it will stop processing those cards at the end of the month.
Fox45 caught up with Governor Hogan at the Baltimore Farmers Market on Sunday morning and he says he wants to see if he can solve the issue.
1700 Farmers Markets nationwide may be affected by the change at "Novo Dia."
