Hopkins grad student kidnapped, attacked by 4 suspects

BALTIMORE (WBFF) - Four suspects attacked and robbed a Johns Hopkins University grad student Sunday evening, forcing the student into their vehicle and trying to get money from ATM machines.

The robbery happened at about 9:14 p.m. Sunday in southern Charles Village, around 26th Street and St. Paul Street, reported JHU's Office of Campus Safety and Security in an advisory Monday morning.

"Four suspects exited and unknown model vehicle forcing a Grad Student inside," campus police reported. "Suspects took a cellphone and wallet from the student, drove to two ATM machines, in an attempt to get money. The student was later forced from the vehicle after being struck and kicked."

Police said the student was taken to a hospital.

Suspects are identified only as four males.
