Lifelong Ellicott City resident planning to stay despite floods
ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (WBFF) -- Seventy-five-year-old Jean Reed has lived her entire life on Main Street in Ellicott City.
She has moved from one house to another over the years but her address has always been Main Street. Even as a child she remembers a hurricane that rolled through the region and flooded the area. Now she lives in the West End and watches the water flood in the opposite direction.
Still, Reed says she plans to stay in Ellicott City, despite the flooding. She says it’s Home.
