Police ID 26-year-old man killed on his own block in NE Baltimore shooting

On March 17, 2017 at approximately 3:30 p.m. officers responded to the 2700 block of The Alameda for a shooting.

BALTIMORE (WBFF) -- A 26-year-old man was killed in a shooting in northeast Baltimore Sunday, police said.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. on The Alameda near Harford Road. Arriving officers found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body.

Medics pronounced Dashon Houston deceased at the scene.

Over 20 shell casings were scattered on the block, which Houston lived on.

There are not arrests at this time. Baltimore City homicide detectives are investigating.
