Baltimore man arrested and charged for his girlfriend's murder

BALTIMORE -- WBFF -- Baltimore Police say that a man has been arrested and charged for his girlfriend's murder that happened on Friday.

According to authorities, at 11:19 p.m., officers responded to the 3100 block of Ascension Street, for a stabbing. Responding officers found a 68-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds.

The victim's boyfriend told officers that he found his girlfriend inside the home, unresponsive, suffering from stab wounds. A medic responded to the location and pronounced the victim, 68-year-old Elizabeth Holland, dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives were summoned and started investigating. The victim's boyfriend, 68-year-old Michael Allen, was arrested and charged with first degree murder.
