Man fatally shot at Gambrills apartment complex

GAMBRILLS, Md. (WBFF) - A fatal shooting was reported Sunday night in the parking lot at an apartment complex off of Crain Highway in Anne Arundel County's Gambrills area.

A 28-year-old man died after being shot at about 11:35 p.m. outside the Beacon at Waugh Chapel apartment complex, on South Main Chapel Way, near Johns Hopkins Road, confirmed police.

The man, a Gambrills resident, was found shot in the upper body.

He was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center and pronounced dead.

He has not been identified yet, pending notification to next-of-kin, said police.

No further details were provided by Monday afternoon.
