    Man fatally shot in East Baltimore

    BALTIMORE -- WBFF -- Baltimore Police say that a man was fatally shot in the eastern part of the city, on Saturday evening.

    According to authorities, just before 7:30 p.m., officers responded to the 2300 block of Aiken Street, to investigate gunfire. Responding officers found a victim in the 1200 block of Darley Avenue.

    The man was suffering from gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

    As a result of the man's condition, homicide detectives responded to investigate.

    Shortly after arriving at Hopkins Hospital, the victim was pronounced dead by medical personnel. Anyone with information should call detectives at 410-396-2100.
