Man fatally stabbed in the torso after being robbed in Baltimore
According to authorities, officers responded to the intersection of 3rd Street and Patapsco Avenue, for a reported stabbing, at 6:30 p.m. Responding officers found a 26-year-old man suffering from stab wounds to the torso.
A medic responded and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
Due to the severity of the victim's injuries, homicide detectives were summoned and continued the investigation. Despite medical intervention, the victim died as a result of his injuries at University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
Detectives learned that the victim was stabbed during a robbery.
