BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Baltimore police said a man waited for five days to get medical attention after he was shot in the groin in West Baltimore.
The 33-year-old man showed up at a hospital just before 1 p.m. Thursday and told nurses there that he had groin pain.
The staff later determined he had a gunshot wound. His injuries were described as not life-threatening.

Detectives said they believe the man was about five days ago nearRayner Avenue and North Longwood Street.

As of Thursday morning, Baltimore police reported that 125 people had been killed in homicides so far this year, a 4.1% increase when compared with the same time period last year. Also Thursday, Baltimore police reported 259 nonfatal shootings so far this year, a 6.5% increase when compared with the same time period last year.
