Man shot in the stomach in West Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WBFF) — A 46-year-old man was shot in West Baltimore Monday night.

According to police, just before 8:30 p.m., they responded to a shot spotter alert near Baker Street.

Once on scene, officers found no indication of a crime. Shortly after, and while still canvassing the scene, officers received reports for a walk-in shooting victim.

The victim was located at the hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound to the stomach.

The man confirmed the location of the incident to be Gilmore and Baker Streets.

Western District shooting detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2477.
