Maryland State police arrest suspect in Salisbury home invasion
SALISBURY, Md. (WBFF) -- On Saturday, Maryland State Police arrested and charged the suspect Harry Joseph Brown, 40, of Delmar, Maryland, for a home invasion on Friday in Wicomico County.
Police say Brown is charged with home invasion, malicious destruction of property, using a firearm in a felony and second-degree assault.
On Friday, at approximately 11:00 p.m., troopers responded to a 911 call for a report of a home invasion, with a firearm, on Seminole Boulevard in Salisbury.
Upon arrival, police met with a female victim who reported that two unknown black males had forced entry into her home, pointed a firearm at her, and then fled the residence.
According to the female victim and her husband, they got into a verbal argument with a man, later identified as Harry Joseph Brown, who then left the scene.
Police say at approximately 11:00 p.m., Brown returned with an unknown black male with dreadlocks, wearing dark clothing, who forced entry into the home.
The victims told investigators that the suspect displayed a black handgun towards the female victim before fleeing the residence in an unknown direction.
Further investigation led police to the residence where Brown was staying.
Investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Brown and served a search warrant on his residence and vehicle. They recovered a Dan Wesson Arms .357 magnum, 11.6 grams of marijuana and 3.3 grams of crack cocaine.
Police are still searching for the second suspect who is still unidentified.
