TOWSON, Md. (WBFF) - New businesses could open as soon as this fall at a shopping center being built at a major Towson intersection.
The tenants announced for Towson Station, at York Road and Bosley Avenue, include Mission BBQ, MOD Pizza, The Habitat Burger Grill, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Men's Wearhouse, Nail Trix, European Wax Center and a freestanding Chase bank, according to H&R Retail.
The development of that corner was a huge controversy for the area community.
It's in a very busy corner that many consider a "gateway" to downtown Towson.
H&R Retail noted that York Road gets 44,462 vehicles per day and Bosley Avenue 28,050 vehicles per day.
The shopping center is set to be delivered in fall 2019.
Curry Architects, which is also working on the project, noted: "As one of the many gateways to downtown Towson, new signage will be incorporated to welcome visitors to the County Seat."
