Neighbors question progress after Charles Village collapse

BALTIMORE (WBFF) - City engineers will meet with CSX officials on Thursday to determine how to shore up the area that collapsed last week along the 26th Street railroad tracks.

Crews have successfully removed the retaining wall that collapsed, and unlike a similar incident four years ago, last week's incident caused no damage to neighboring homes.

Neighbors are, however, complaining that the city has kept them in the dark and provided little assurance that measures are being taken to prevent future incidents.
