Officer injured after trying to stop vehicle in west Baltimore
BALTIMORE (WBFF) - An officer trying to stop a vehicle in west Baltimore Monday evening had his foot run over by the suspect's car.
The vehicle was being stopped for a traffic violation, said Baltimore police.
The incident happened at Franklin Street/Route 40 and North Pulaski Street at about 7:45 p.m.
The officer's injuries were not life-threatening, said police.
The suspect fled the area after "rolling over the officer’s foot."
