Pedestrian killed by tractor-trailer on I-95 in White Marsh

WHITE MARSH, Md. (WBFF) - A pedestrian was fatally struck by a tractor-trailer on I-95 in the White Marsh area early Tuesday.

The victim was identified as Nicole Comi, 31, of Baltimore. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Comi was walking near the right side of the four-lane highway; it is not known why she was walking there, said investigators.

The crash happened at 2:30 a.m. on I-95 in the area of I-695 and White Marsh Boulevard, near the King Avenue overpass, reported Maryland State Police.

The accident closed I-95 to northbound traffic at the Beltway.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was identified as Michael McDonough, 59, of Edgewood. He was not injured and was cooperating with police at the investigation scene.

No charges have been filed. The Baltimore County State's Attorney's Office will determine if charges will be filed in the future.
