In Northeast Baltimore, there was a different sound in the air.
In the Wilson Point Northern Community, volunteers rolled up their sleeves and began putting five broken homes back together again.
One home got a new porch, another got a new fence, Kalem Urami got a new ceiling.
The work comes compliments of "Rebuilding Together Baltimore," an organization that provides critical repairs for homeowners who can't necessarily afford them.
The work is funded by grants and contributions and performed by volunteers who have spent the past year putting a fresh face on the Wilson Point Community. Volunteers will spend the next year repairing more homes in the community.
