AACO: Robbery Spree Arrests
BALTIMORE( WBFF)--Anne Arundel County Police have made two arrests in connection with a string of connected robberies and attempted robberies.
On October 26, 2017, over several hours, officers responded to robbery calls at the following businesses:
• Metro PCS - 661 Old Mill Road, Millersville (3:21 p.m.)
• GameStop - 7300 Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie (4:35 p.m.)
• Subway - 2641 Riva Road, Annapolis (5:56 p.m.)
• Arby’s - 3 Mayo Road, Edgewater (6:11 p.m.)
Investigators quickly determined that these cases were connected based on the description and behavior of the suspects.
Detectives were able to positively identify both suspects involved in these robberies as 24-year-old Nicholas Santiago and 27-year-old Brandon Michael Young.
Detectives obtained search warrants which were executed at both suspect’s residences. Numerous items linking the suspects to the robberies were recovered.
Both suspects were located, arrested, and charged with Armed Robbery, Robbery, Assault, Theft, Kidnapping, False Imprisonment and Handgun charges.
Detectives said they also recovered evidence linking both suspects to a robbery that occurred on September 19, 2017 at Sam’s Pizza, in Glen Burnie.
Detectives will be charging both suspects with that robbery as well.
