Roses Discount to move into former Kmart site in NW Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WBFF) - Roses Discount Store is set to open its fourth Baltimore-area store, in a 40,000-square-foot space in a northwest Baltimore shopping center.

Roses will open at the Northwest Plaza, at Wabash Avenue and Northern Parkway, announced Klein Enterprises Wednesday.

Kmart left the shopping center in 2014.

Roses will be joining tenants like Rite Aid Pharmacy, Food King, Aaron’s, Rainbow Apparel, BB&T Bank, Subway and Advance Auto.

Roses Discount Store is also located in the Brooklyn and Frankford areas.

“The addition of a Roses will increase shoppers to the Plaza and create a more robust retail center.”” said William H. Cole, president and CEO of the Baltimore Development Corporation.
