BALTIMORE (WBFF) - It's the season of giving.
Today, Catholic Charities of Baltimore was spreading holiday cheer to those in need.
The organization provided 335 people who reside at the Weinberg Housing and Resource Center with donated gifts from the community and a holiday dinner.
The Weinberg is one of Baltimore's largest emergency shelters.
"This is a time for them to see that there is hope even in the midst of the most difficult circumstances there is hope there are people that love and care for them, there are people who are here to support them," said Amy Collier with Catholic Charities.
Each resident also got a backpack filled with winter weather gear.
