PIKESVILLE, Md. (WBFF) - A state trooper apparently struck a pick-up truck on I-795 near the Beltway this morning, causing a three-vehicle crash and injuring an Owings Mills man.

Michael Becker, 54, of Owings Mills, was taken by ambulance to Carroll Hospital Center after his 2010 Chevrolet pick-up was hit at about 7 a.m. by a 2004 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Sgt. George Frazier Jr., 48, according to Maryland State Police.

Frazier was also taken to Carroll Hospital Center.

The preliminary investigation shows Frazier failed to stop and ended up hitting the pick-up.

The truck was forced into the back of a 2017 Honda CRV, driven by Brittanie Page, 25, of Arnold, which in turn was forced into the back of a 2011 Cadillac SRX driven by Roberta Zeck, 62, of Littlestown, Pa.

Brittanie Page and Roberta Zeck refused any treatment.

    The crash remains under investigation.
