    STUDENT CHARGED| Loch Raven High Incident

    BALTIMORE (WBFF)-- Baltimore County Police say they have charged the 14-year-old boy responsible for bringing a pellet gun to Loch Raven High School Thursday.

    The school was placed on lockdown while police searched the building. The school resource officer received information that a student was concealing a gun in a backpack.

    When the SRO approached the student, the student fled into another area of the school.

    Tactical units responded to the school and began searching the building, locating and arresting the 14-year-old suspect in a classroom, where they recovered the gun on him.

    Police say the boy has been charged as a juvenile with Disturbing Activities at School and Dangerous Weapon on School Property.

    His name will not be released.
