Surprise plea from former BPD officer
BALTIMORE (WBFF) - A former Baltimore city police officer is a convicted felon.
Eric Snell pleaded guilty on Thursday to conspiring to sell drugs which were stolen by now convicted officers of the city’s former drug trace task force.
Prosecutors say Snell solicited relatives to help sell the drugs in Philadelphia where Snell worked as a police officer.
Snell’s guilty plea came as he was standing trial on the conspiracy charge.
He could receive 20 years in prison when he’s sentenced in January.
