Teens with disabilities deprived of an education
BALTIMORE (WBFF) - A FOX45 investigation found complaints filed against school districts across the state.
Records show people in power knew it was happening, but no one stepped in to stop it.
Crime & Justice lead investigative reporter Joy Lepola discovered that a growing number of teens in Maryland are charged as adults, waiting in jail to see where their case ends up - in adult court or juvenile court.
By law, school districts must provide an education to youth.
But FOX45 found some school districts were breaking that law.
