    Thousands of State Highway Crews tackle snow; 2500 Trucks on the road

    BALTIMORE (WBFF)-- The State Highway Administration says more than 2,500 trucks are treating roads around the State Sunday.

    Crews have been on the roads all night.

    Current forecasts call for snow throughout the day.

    Emergency officials ask that motorists allow crews to work and delay any unnecessary travel.

    State Police say between 7pm and 7am, they received nearly 500 calls for service and responded to more than 100 crashes.

    Snow emergency plans remain in effect for most of the state until 6pm.

    Motorists are advised to stay indoors and avoid any unnecessary travel.
