
BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WBFF) — Baltimore County Police say they've arrested two people in connection with a robbery in Parkville that led to an off-duty police officer firing shots at the suspects. Police also say there are charges pending against a third person.
18-year-old Daevon Padgett and 19-year-old Jada Hampton, both of Parkville, are being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center. Arrest warrants against them were issued on May 11 and served on May 25.
Padgett faces charges of armed robbery, first degree assault and theft. Hampton faces charges of conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
The robbery happened on May 5 in the 1100 block of Deanwood Road in Parkville, according to Baltimore County Police. Police said that OfficerAdnan Hussain with the Maryland-National Capital Police Montgomery County Division was attempting to purchase a PlayStation5. Police said the sellers tried to rob Hussain of $440. Hussain then shot Padgett and Hampton, according to police.
No charges were filed against Hussain.
