Upper Marlboro man charged in Glen Burnie home invasion

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WBFF) -- Two residents were the victims of a home invasion in Glen Burnie Thursday evening.

Anne Arundel County Police were called to an apartment on Warwickshire Lane off of Harris Heights Avenue for a reported home invasion.

Once officers arrived they found an armed suspect with handgun who was fleeing the apartment on foot.

Additional police were called to the area including canine and police helicopter. The suspect was later seen running between houses and was soon taken into custody.

The victims in the apartment helped identify the gunman.

According to the victims, the suspect, Terrell McDonald, 27, forced his way into their apartment. He struck the male victim in the face, then pointed a gun and demanded money.

McDonald found no money in the apartment and fled the area. The victim sustained facial injuries and was taken to a hospitalized for treatment.

The female victim was not hurt during the incident. Terrell McDonald is facing home invasion, robbery, and assault charges.
