WEEKEND WEATHER| Snow, ice and freezing temperatures hit parts of Maryland

Light snowfall continues to fall through the noon hour.

As soon as the snow comes to an end, a deep freeze will settle in across the area.

Less than an inch of snow fell across the area, but icy conditions will persist as temperatures drop to the teens Saturday night and the single digits New Year's Eve.

Frigid temperatures stick with us through most of the week. Another chance of flurries Wednesday with another cold front moving through. Temperatures will warm to near 30 on Wednesday ahead of the front, but then drop once again as the Arctic onslaught continues.
