Snow continues to cause headaches in Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WBFF)-- Snowy weather and slippery roads led to a slowdown around the region all day Friday.

A winter weather advisory remained in effect through 6 p.m., and snow accumulations up to 3 inches were expected in some areas.

Temperatures remained well below freezing, causing some traffic delays and worried drivers and pedestrians, as well as early school dismissals.

Flurries were set to come to an end Friday night, with lows near 15 degrees.

A dry weekend with a gradual warming trend is on the way 40-45 degrees Saturday, followed by 45-50 Sunday. We’ll see clouds and sun for both days.

Many area schools dismissed early as a result of the winter weather.
