Woman indicted in crash that killed grandmother, 5-year-old granddaughter

BALTIMORE (WBFF) -- A Baltimore County Grand Jury on Monday indicted Callie Schwarzman on two counts of automobile manslaughter and other related charges stemming from a July 23 crash that killed a grandmother and her five-year-old granddaughter.

Police say Deborah Limmer was walking with granddaughter Delaney Gaddis along Girdwood Road in Timonium when Schwarzman lost control just south of Treherne Road, veering across the roadway and onto the sidewalk, striking Limmer and Gaddis. Gaddis was being pushed in a stroller.

Police say Schwarzman’s vehicle returned to the roadway and stopped just before Londonderry Road.

During the course of the investigation, a search warrant for the Kia Sorento that Schwarzman was driving at the time of the crash was obtained and evidence of alcohol and a controlled, dangerous substance was recovered.

Schwarzman also had a warrant for violation of probation for a drunk driving offense in Carroll County in 2017.
