Woman,53, fatally shot in head Friday afternoon in East Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WBFF)-- A 53-year-old is dead after she was shot in the head Friday afternoon in East Baltimore.

Just before 2:20 p.m., officers were called to a home for a reported shooting on East North Avenue near Kennedy Avenue.

They discoveredt the victim with a gunshot wound to head. The victim was taken to an area hospital where she later died from her injuries.

Homicide detectives continue to investigate this homicide.
