WOODLAWN, Md. (WBFF) - A Woodlawn man was arrested after an apparent road-rage incident on I-695 earlier this month where he allegedly pointed a gun at another driver.

Brandon Jones, 31, is accused of threatening the other driver shortly before 7 a.m. on Dec. 15, on the ramp from Security Boulevard to the outer loop of I-695, reported Maryland State Police on Wednesday.

Jones was driving a black Ford Expedition when, according to the unidentified victim, Jones "merged in front of him and nearly caused a crash," according to the news release.

"Before speeding off, [Jones] allegedly pointed a black semi-automatic gun at the victim," according to the release.

Police do not believe any shots were fired. No one was injured in the incident.

Jones was arrested shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday.
