UPDATE (12/6/17) -- Little Rock police have released updated information in a triple homicide Tuesday at the Rosewood Apartments.

At first, police were called out to the scene at 2:05 p.m. in reference to a possible suicide. However, Officer Steve Moore said in a press conference Tuesday that evidence at the scene indicated otherwise.

Authorities say Sheba Cunningham came to check on her granddaughter and great grandchildren after she learned the kids had not gone to school that day.

According to the police report, that's when Sheba found her family members, 24-year-old Mariah Cunningham, 5-year-old Alayah Fisher and 3-year-old Elijah Fisher, dead.

Police say all three victims live at the address where the incident took place.

The Little Rock School District confirms Alayah attended kindergarten at Wakefield Elementary School and her brother attended a district preschool. Grief counselors were on site at Wakefield on Wednesday.

The victims' bodies have been taken to the medical examiner to determine a cause of death, but police are investigating their deaths as homicides.

Mariah's vehicle, which was missing from the scene, was later recovered Tuesday evening at the Autumn Park Apartments, located at 43 Warren Drive. Authorities have not said how the missing vehicle is connected to the homicide case.

No suspect information has been released as the investigation continues.

Police confirm Charles Fisher, the father of one of the children, was brought in for questioning and arrested on unrelated charges in the case. Authorities say he had an outstanding warrant prior to the homicide.
