BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF)--- Team Justify knew its colt would be the favorite for the 143rd running of the Preakness Stakes this Saturday at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland. Justify enters the field as the heavy favorite after winning the Kentucky Derby two weeks ago by two-and-a-half lengths on a muddy track. After going unraced as a two-year-old last season, Justify is a perfect 4-0.

The Preakness field features eight horses, four ran in the Kentucky Derby, the rest are new shooters.

Justify, trained by Bob Baffert and jockey Mike Smith, will leave from the 7 post as the 1-2 favorite. Baffert has won the Preakness six times, he's looking for a record-tying seventh on Saturday. Every Derby winner he's ran in the Preakness has won the Middle Jewel of the Triple Crown (4). The last, in 2015 was Triple Crown winner American Pharoah.

Kentucky Derby runner-up Good Magic is the second best horse, leaving from post position number 5 at 3-1 odds.

1 PP Quip 12-1

2 PP Lone Sailor 15-1

4 PP Diamond King 30-1

5 PP Good Magic 3-1
