BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF)--- Less than 24 hours after his arrival in Baltimore, Justify hit the track for a workout at Pimlico. The Kentucky Derby winner, Justify, is a heavy favorite for Saturday's 143rd running of the Preakness Stakes at 1-2 odds and coming out of the seven post position.

The field is set for eight horses, four of which raced at the Kentucky Derby two weeks ago.

Trainer Bob Baffert said Justify shipped well from his flight from Louisville, Kentucky to Baltimore, Maryland. His first session on the track was short due to rain and a sloppy track, but successful Thursday. Baffert said all signs point towards Justify being ready for another strong showing. The colt is undefeated in four races.

Baffert is a perfect four-for-four with Kentucky Derby winners also winning the Middle Jewel of the Triple Crown. His last horse to do so, American Pharoah, went on to win the Triple Crown in 2015.
