Amy Simpson

Amy Simpson joins FOX45 as a general assignment reporter. Born and raised in Howard County, Maryland, Amy is thrilled to be back in her home market.

Before joining the team at WBFF, Amy spent three years at WRIC-TV in Richmond, Virginia and two years at WETM-TV in Elmira, New York. She is a proud graduate of Penn State University (We Are!) where she studied Broadcast Journalism, Political Science, and French. Amy also attended Howard County Public Schools for K-12.

Amy lives in Howard County with her husband and their German Shepherd-mix, Pepper. In her free time, Amy tries to find any excuse to be at the beach – especially Bethany Beach, DE – loves to try new wines, and spend time with her family on the Chesapeake Bay.
