Mikenzie Frost

Mikenzie Frost joins FOX45 as a reporting focusing on all things politics. A native Michigander, Mikenzie spent two years covering the Capital City in Michigan and the campaign trail before moving to Maryland in August 2020.

In Michigan, Mikenzie tracked down politicians and interviewed presidential hopefuls. She covered President Trump’s several rallies and sat down with Vice President Mike Pence for an interview during a visit to West Michigan. Mikenzie was named best broadcast reporter in 2019 by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters.

Before diving into politics, Mikenzie spent three years at KTVH-TV in Helena, Montana anchoring the evening news casts. While in Montana, Mikenzie fell in love with the outdoors and spent most weekends hiking and campaign in Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. Mikenzie is a proud graduate of Northern Michigan University.

In her free time, Mikenzie is probably hiking or looking for a new place to explore. She lives in Baltimore City with her orange cat named Toby Zeigler (yes, after the West Wing character).
